Some pals of mine, including Dark Dave & the ever-elusive Dylan, have come up with their own Podcast, “Total Non Sequitur” (*** ½ out of 5). Now I’m sure you’re wondering why the 3 & ½ stars rating, well let me just point out it was the first episode, & it’s NOT for everyone. If you’re easily offended, if you have a weak stomach, if you lack a sense of humor or an ability to understand that this is three guys in a basement just talking then you WILL NOT ENJOY THIS. However, if you like jokes about rape, political incorrectness taken to the extreme, and some really disturbing observations then this is FOR YOU. So when I get the link I’ll post it.

Tonight is the play test for D&D Crawl. I have all the paper work for it done; now I just need to gather miniatures together, separate tiles, and set-up the basement for the gaming. I have extremely high hopes for this, but I’m also very prepared for it to come off the tracks quickly. It’s a play test. I’m sure that there will be a lot of questions, a lot of things I didn’t think of that need to be revised, and some folks who just plain don’t care for it. All that being said, I think it’s built on solid mechanics and the module we’re going to play, The Courts Of The Crimson Queen, is the last one I finished so therefore the most polished. My fingers are crossed.

David Fincher is putting it together with Clancy Brown as the Goon & Paul Giamatti as Frankie. For those who aren’t in the know, The Goon is one of my favorite funny books. It mixes horror, crime, and humor into an over the top frothy drink of perfection, oh and the creator Eric Powell is a certified genius and one of my personal heroes.

- Here are two production art pieces for the upcoming Thor & Captain America flick. I’m still not sold on Thor without a helmet. As for Cap I sort of like it, but it does seem a bit clunky.


- I despise cowardly people.
- Good news, bad news. The bad news is I broke the lawn mower. I ripped the handle off. Luckily the Fasher-In-Law is hooking me up. The good news was Tuesday night we watched True Blood with Dave & Liz. Good stuff! FINALLY, we’re getting somewhere. I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the Eric Northman flashback and I look forward to a gory Viking revenge.
- My tomato plant is poppin’ up some wonderful cherry tomatoes, and to quote my nephew & niece they are “Tatty”…
